Les Miles Michigan: LSU May Be Willing To Lower Miles' $1.25 Million Buyout | Bleacher Report: "Les Miles Michigan: LSU May Be Willing To Lower Miles' $1.25 Million Buyout
Les Miles is expected to meet with officials from his alma mater, Michigan on Tuesday. However, the nature of the meeting has yet to be disclosed.
'I'm told that we will speak, that time and place has not been identified,' Miles told reporters in a press conference. 'It's hard for me to speculate to the substance of the meeting.'
Of course, it's probably safe to assume that it's not going to be all chit-chatting and catching up. The Wolverines are looking for a new head coach, that much we know.
It's also obvious that Miles is intrigued with a possible return to Michigan, where he also served as an assistant coach. Why else would he take the meeting?
If Miles does choose to leave the SEC for the Big Ten, his contract with LSU, which ties him to the school until 2014, may not get in the way.
According to ESPN's Joe Schad (@ joeschad): 'LSU might be willing to waive or lower Les Miles' 1.25M buyout to Michigan.'"
